Today marks my 10th anniversary at Mastercard.
In that time, Iโve held ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ๐, lived in ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐, and traveled to ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ. Along the way, Iโve met incredible people whoโve inspired, challenged, and supported me.

๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ, driven by a passion for ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ถ๐ป๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป. Over the years, Iโve grown into a ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟโone who thrives in complexity, collaboration, and uncertainty.
Iโve had the privilege of leading ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ-๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป across several areas in payments: ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ (๐๐ฎ๐), ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐น๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐, ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ (๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐), ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐/๐๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ถ๐, ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ช๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐๐, ๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฒ, ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น, and strategic growth areas.
In 2017, I moved to ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ to lead ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป for Mastercardโs ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, focusing on ๐ ๐ฆ๐ ๐๐, ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, ๐ ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ฒ ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ๐, ๐ ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ณ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ, ๐๐ป๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฑ๐ณ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด. Many concepts didnโt scaleโbut thatโs part of innovation. Our biggest success came in ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ, where we grew the ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ to ๐ญ๐ users across ๐๐๐ผ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ and ๐ณ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐, before handing it off for commercialization.
In 2021, I returned to North America to lead ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐น๐ผ๐๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฒ, Mastercardโs POS platform. The goal was to ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐น๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ and reduce hardware costs for MSMEs. The platform launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, when demand for safer, touch-free payments acceleratedโand our work helped inform several sister projects across the company.
