Indelible Moments by Amha Mogus

Over the weekend I launched a new website dedicated to showcasing my photography. You can access it by clicking Photography in the navigation or by clicking here.

The new website takes the form of a photo blog, where I post an image and ramble on about what I find interesting about the image. I’ll also take pictures of random door knobs, buttons, controls, signs and that sort of thing because I like to exercise the engineering psychology aspect of experience design.

I hope you won’t fault me for saying this, but I think the website will be unique and worth checking out. I hope you enjoy it.

DIY Video Rig

I found the following video, which shows one how to build video rig for the Canon 7D. It’s absolutely amazing and, I want one!

9000 frames a second….

“Multiple tower upward lightning flash captured at 9,000 images per second in Rapid City, SD on 6/16/10. A preceding downward positive ground flash triggers upward leaders from seven towers, three of which are visible in the video.”

Back on Flickr

I have decided once again to use flickr as my primary foto sharing site. From time to time, I’ll upload images on this blog as well, but ultimately I’m going to develop my own website devoted to my photography. For now enjoy:

Summer in Barcelona!

I’ll be in Barcelona, Spain, for 10 weeks this summer. I’ll be co-instructing 2 classes, computational photography and ethics, with Professor Irfan Essa. I’m currently developing a photo blog to share/post images. The following map will be updated frequently with places I visited and that sort of thing. Exciting times ahead.

Trip to Savannah

This weekend I took a trip out to Savannah, Georgia and I had a blast. Leeam and I stayed at the Park Avenue Manor, a wonderful Bed & Breakfast, which was in a beautiful Victorian style house. Here are a few pictures.
