I’m a product experience designer director with over 15 years of industry experience. Functionally speaking, I have led design methodology to deliver intuitive products and services across the globe, including projects in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Practically speaking, I’m a creative-analytic who is often reframing ideas and asking open-ended questions to challenge teams. Naturally empathic, I try to build consensus in cross-functional settings.
Frequently asked questions
Where do you work?
I currently work for Mastercard, as a director of product experience design within Foundry. Mastercard's Foundry is the main driver of product innovation.
Why can't I find you on Social Media
Simple. I stopped being social online when I deleted my social media accounts in 2012. I read 'You are not a gadget', which did a great job of summarizing the drawbacks of the social web. I also read 'The Shallows' which was critical of digital media and the negative impact it was having on attention spans. I began my career as a product designer the same year these books were published.
Where can I find your designs?
Like many designers, I have worked for many companies that prevent me from sharing my design work. If you're interested in my design, contact me directly through the contact form below or through LinkedIn.
What are some of your career highlights
Here are a few
2020: I led product experience design for Mastercard's Lab for Financial inclusion for 5 years. In that role, we launched 3 products in the Sub-Saharan region. 2 of those projects eventually scaled to multiple markets.
2018, I met Pele during a Mastercard customer showcase in Barcelona, Spain. When I met him, I said 'Obrigado' and he, without skipping a beat, responds ' āmeseginalehu'. It was amazing. Here's a picture.
